Pharmacy Voice is recruiting a Senior Policy Adviser (community pharmacy practice)

Full-time (job-share applications will be considered); London-based; Salary in the range of £50-60k - more may be available for an exceptional candidate.

Pharmacy Voice is the trade body which brings together and speaks on behalf of community pharmacy, providing thought leadership on strategic issues facing the sector, engaging with government policy, legislation and regulation and presenting the single voice of community pharmacy owners in the media and in wider public debate.

With a new senior management team in place Pharmacy Voice is growing its reach, visibility and impact.  We now have an exciting opportunity for a senior policy adviser to join us and lead our work on pharmacy practice and business issues.  You will contribute to the success of Pharmacy Voice by:

  • Providing high quality, expert policy advice to our senior management team and members
  • Leading a wide range of policy engagement and influencing programmes
  • Representing Pharmacy Voice and its members with external stakeholders and policy-makers
  • Developing and maintaining effective programme and knowledge management systems

You will have a good knowledge of the community pharmacy sector in England and in-depth insight into the current professional, practice, policy and business issues impacting on it, as well as highly developed political judgement, excellent analytical and communication skills and an understanding of how to influence effectively in a public policy environment.

Just as important, you will be well organised, have a collaborative approach to team-work, a commitment to meeting high standards and a focus on quality and delivery.
