The Company Chemists Association (CCA) has responded to the Royal College of General Practitioners’ think piece on a new organisational model for general practice. The CCA works to support the development of a diverse market of primary care providers. Given that smaller GPs practices are proven to provide high quality clinical care and often greater continuity of care for patients, the CCA recognises the legitimacy of RCGP considering how the future business model for GP contractors might be developed and their income protected.
