About the CCA

The Company Chemists' Association

The Company Chemists' Association provides a forum for the large businesses engaged in community pharmacy to work together to help create an environment where pharmacy can flourish and providers compete in a fair and equitable way. We aim to:

  • Represent our members
  • Empower our members to understand the changing policy environment; and
  • Influence that policy environment.

Today, the CCA has nine companies in membership. They are: Boots, The Co-operative Pharmacy, LloydsPharmacy, Tesco, J Sainsbury, Wm Morrison Supermarkets, Asda Wal-Mart, Rowlands Pharmacy and Superdrug. Between them, our members own in excess of 5,000 pharmacies - around 45% of the pharmacies in the United Kingdom.
